Academia Barbate is located in Barbate (Costa de la Luz) at the very centre of this fishermen town full of tradition and history, one of the most beautiful landscapes in Cádiz province.
Barbate is nestled between two large gaditanos capes, Tarifa at the east and Trafalgar at the west, between the towns of Conil, Vejer de la Frontera and Tarifa. Because of this stands out due to its environment offering beautiful beaches, cliffs and pine forests, also La Breña and Marismas de Barbate natural parks.
Its municipal term includes Barbate, the pedanía of Los Caños de Meca and Zahara de los Atunes. Three places to forget the time, enjoy its colorful sunsets and get carried away by the rhythm of the calm and unhurried life that marks its lush natural heritage.
It features a total of 6 beaches, mostly in wild conditions, which include the beach and dunes of Faro de Trafalgar, the urban beach of Hierbabuena, Playa del Carmen in the center of Barbate, Zahora or the coves and cliffs of Caños de Meca. From them, you can even see Morocco on a clear day.
There are three near international airports; Sevilla, Málaga, Jerez de la Frontera and Gibraltar.
