TREFFPUNKT is an independent, owner-managed language institute in the heart of Bamberg – a UNESCO World Heritage city. Since its founding in 1995, TREFFPUNKT has stood for high-quality German instruction, personal attention, and a warm, open learning environment. Since 2016, Kristina Schimmeyer has led the institute with passion and commitment, supported by a dedicated team of experienced teachers and helpful office staff.

SprachHaus Bamberg is offering the home-tuition program since 2002. Home-tuition means learning and living under one roof, at the teacher's house. It's the most intensive and efficient way of language training. Starting with a conversation during breakfast and sometimes ending late at night, the students are in constant contact to both German language and culture.
Depending on the weather conditions, lessons will be held outside in the green of the garden, in the winter garden, or in one of the spacious rooms of the house with garden view.
All 1-on-1 classes are individual and tailor-made. The atmosphere is always relaxed, cheerful, stress-free and intimate.
