This course combines 10 weekly hours of Spanish language classes (communicative grammar, conversation, reading and writing) with 10 weekly hours of theory and practice on the subject of Spanish art. The program includes guided tours to the most representative monuments in Salamanca, and it will have the participation of workshops taught by local renowned and acclaimed artists. The theoretical classes of the course will offer a review of some of the most important characters of Spanish art in the 19th and 20th centuries, and also of the artistic movements in which they participated. Also, the contents of the program will carry out a review through different examples of Spanish contemporary art. This a two-week course with 40 hours of lessons in total.

Letra Hispánica is placed in the very center of Salamanca, no longer tan a two-minute walk from the Plaza Mayor, in a modern building with all the commodities and fully accessible to all.

Salamanca is a pleasant, safe and vibrant city, situated near Madrid, to which airport is directly linked, and near other significant cities in Spain and Portugal, such as Port or Lisbon.

Salamanca was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 and European Capital of Culture in 2002, and it is famous for its culture and its artistic assets, such as the Cathedrals or the Major Square. Salamanca’s lively ambiance, the many cultural opportunities, coffee shops, and nightlife provide incoming visitors and foreign students with a unique, unforgettable experience.
