The Intensive course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay.

This course is heavily focused in improving your spanish so that in the least possible time you will be able to comunicate with other spanish speakers.

You will have a morning lessons focused in listening and speaking so that you can take your knowledge to daily activities. And the afternoon lessons are focused on vocabulary, prononunciation and grammar so that you can use spanish without mistakes.

Guayasamin Institute is located in the center-south of the City, it is between the Metro station "La Magdalena" and the "Recreo" Mall center. The historical center of Quito is at a 10 min drive and the financial center is at a 25 min Drive.

The Institute is in a 4 story yellow building in front of Amazonas Highschool.

The institute is located in a strategic part of Quito since the Recreo Station is at a 13 min walk and from there you can get anywhere in Quito.

"Learning About Enligh Learning in Quito"

While volunteering I liked the amount of interaction I had with the students and being apart of their learning experience. Somethings that stood out to me the most was the staff and owners willingness to improve the school and bringing diversity into the classrooms through volunteers and media. Things that the school could improve is their young learners classrooms (decor and activities) and volunteer recruitment strategies.

The homestay is in front of the institute. There is a kitchen and shelves for you to keep your food. The room has a two story bed, a closet and drawyers.

There is a toilet and a bathroom.

If you want to have some time to travel we can keep your bags in the basement.

Cleaning is available 4 times a week. Tipically mondays, wednesdays, fridays and saturdays (All is cleaned exept dishes)

There is free high speed internet (Contract with Netlife)

This is our new campus. This residence is vey wide, a lot of green areas, a swimming pool (cold) and frech air.

At the moment there is still no internet in the area.

It is on a 10min walk to Panamericana Sur (The hicghway that takes you to all the places of Ecuador).

There is a small store in front of the residence and a big one on a 10 minute walk.
