English Outdoors is an original and innovative concept of lessons outside sof the classroom, in locations all over the city, allowing students to sight-see and discover more of NYC while they study English.
Instead of being in a room with 4 walls, students learn in places such as Bryant Park, Union Square, Essex Market, Central Park, DUMBO, Industry City and more. The city is their classroom! Locations have been carefully chosen based on comfort, space, ease of access, proximity of public restrooms, etc. Alternative indoor locations are planned for rainy days, so lessons are guaranteed, every day, whatever the weather.
Being immersed in the city adds a unique element to the classroom experience. Instead of simply discussing NYC related topics in a classroom, students can truly experience NYC life and culture first-hand in authentic settings. Classes are rich in cultural content and conversation and also include regular cultural and educational field trips around the city.

Here is the advice that we can provide to students regarding visas: We always recommend that students come on a proper visa and it’s up to the student to make that decision. While the majority of our students come on an F-1 student visa, some choose otherwise. Unless otherwise instructed by the authorities, at the present time LSI will accept enrolments of individuals in any course of study should they present themselves at the school with a visa other than an F-l. In this case, the individual assumes all responsibility for the maintenance of their legal immigration status in the United States.
Persons with Tourist Visas are allowed to study at the school if their reason for being in the US is tourism and their course is incidental to this.
The student should be aware that if he or she chooses to travel on a tourist visa or visa waiver but tells immigration that he or she is coming here to study, the immigration officer at the Port of Entry (airport) may ask for a student visa which the student does not have. In this case, the student may not be allowed entry to the United States.

Yes This is fine
Not too far, it’s about 30 minutes subway.
The easiest way to get to school is by subway. The residence is a 30 minute subway commute from the school. Students can purchase a weekly ($30) or monthly (£112) Unlimited Ride MetroCard from Subway Station Booths or Metro Card Vending Machines (prices may vary).
Well it's not close, it's about 1hour flight from NYC to buffalo and then another 30 minutes approx. driver to campus. It's pretty to close to Toronto with about 2 And hours.
Bear in mind please it's campus life and experience so it focuses a lot on learning and experiencing college life, so it features 2 different styles between Manhattan and Fredonia.
Since the students are
booking far in advance, the chances are higher, but unfortunately I still
can not guarantee that we can provide a private bathroom for them.
