General English courses include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Progress in learning English is monitored by continuous assessment from the English language teacher (using the Common European Framework of Reference CEFR), tutorials and internal tests. For one week I was joining the general English B2 class. I enjoyed each day a lot. The vibe in the international House is pretty good. It was nice to met so much people from all over the world with the same destination: studying English. My teacher was wonderful. She did the lessons very varied with lots of opportunities to improve our English skills. I was also fascinated how she looked after every student. I made this experience also in the office and the PSP. In the PSP I had the possibility to work on my individuell weakness. The sources of study material at the PSP have a proper reach. If I will have the opportunity I will visit the International House in Newcastle definitely again!
Teachers were very friendly and helpful, the location was in the city centre, five minutes or less from everything and the accomomdation was very nice. A beautiful room with private bathroom located in an area well connected with the city centre.
