Let us find you a volunteer assignment in a Hangzhou-based NGO, and make a meaningful contribution to a range of good causes. Outside of your volunteer placement, take part in cultural and NGO-focused activities, learn Chinese and explore Hangzhou with your colleagues. Hutong School is devoted to ehtical causes and we have a strong association with NGO's and charities. Our Volunteer Program is designed for devoted candidates who want to experience volunteering in China.
Our Volunteer Program includes:
• Volunteering Assignment
• 4 hours of group Chinese classes per week (or 2 hours per week of private lessons if there is no group available at your level)
• Airport pick up on our arrival dates
• Accommodation in a private room within a shared apartment in central Hangzhou (utilities and wifi included)
• 2-3 cultural activities per week (e.g. tea ceremonies, taichi lessons, kung fu shows, trips to nearby water towns…)
• Visa assistance
• City Orientation and welcome pack
• Practical assistance while here in China (24/7 support)
